DMAI serves as a rich resource for its member organizations, and we see the association’s eagerness to partner as a tribute to their stated commitment to innovation and responsiveness.
The Policy & Trends Brief is planned for release at the end of this year and will be the result of DMAI’s thoughtful assessment of home sharing. As travelers are provided with more choices in the way they book accommodations, and since we strongly believe that home sharing is here to stay, we’re keenly interested in helping destinations learn more about the rapidly expanding sharing economy.
That’s why it’s important that the brief be written with DMOs at center stage, and that the questions DMAI begins to tackle lead to actionable steps that destinations can take today. DMAI and Airbnb are aligned in our collaboration resulting in a one-stop resource for DMOs curious about home sharing.
