Rebranding America to attract international tourists

That is the name of the ad campaign spreading the good word about Uncle Sam all over the globe. While the rebranding discussion has been in the pipeline for a few years now, it has never been so aggressively promoted as it is now. This rebranding is as much of a business decision as it is an image makeover for the United States at large. The two are entwined, of course, but experts say there are two distinct divisions in this image, the U.S. as a developed nation and the U.S. as a tourism destination.
