Exchange rates affect international tourist spending power

Fluctuating exchange rates are affecting the tourism industry as the American economy strengthens, including how tourists spend their money in Orlando. International tourist spending was flat last year, with a 1.1 percent increase over 2013 — when the increase had been a more robust 7.1 percent, according to the U.S. Travel Association.
