DMAI supports industry-wide effort to update economic significance study on meetings

Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) joined 13 fellow members of the Convention Industry Council and release data on the Economic Significance of Meetings to the U.S. Economy. An update to a 2009 study, new figures show significant increases in meeting participants, direct spending, tax contribution and job growth from 2009 to 2012.
